My precious little brother, Ricky Baer, passed on January 8, 2024. He lived an incredible life; overcoming multiple life changing adversities. He was born deaf. He grew up embracing his deafness, becoming part of the Deaf Community, and loving the person God chose him to be. At age 11, Ricky, endured a traumatic experience, transverse myelitis, leaving him paralyzed from the waist down. That never stopped him. He graduated from the Ohio School for the Deaf in 2005 and went on to attain his Associates Degree in Visual Communication from Sinclair Community College. Through the years he touched the lives of so many people with love and laughter. He was an inspiration.

His unexpected passing has left my family full of grief and financially unprepared. We are campaigning for donations to help lay his body to rest. If Ricky has ever made you laugh, told you a joke, or gave you one of his great big bear hugs, please consider donating and sharing this campaign.
