Car Repairs

  • PLEASE SHARE THIS FUNDRAISER

If you are unable to donate, sharing this fundraiser with your friends, family, and community would mean just as much. Reaching more people is one of the most powerful ways you can help support this effort, and every share brings me one step closer to keeping my vehicle safe, reliable, and on the road.

  • Summary:

I am currently facing an urgent need to raise funds to keep my only vehicle safe, reliable, and operational. At this point in my life, my car is more than transportation; it is the tool that allows me to search for employment, attend opportunities, support my family, and continue working toward rebuilding financial stability.

I am currently unemployed and actively searching for work, but without dependable transportation, even finding new opportunities becomes significantly more difficult. I have been doing everything I can to move forward, including taking on delivery work through Grubhub when possible and offering rides for gas money, but my vehicle has reached a point where immediate maintenance and repairs are necessary to keep it safe and dependable.

My name is Jason Agostarola, but many have come to know me as JayAstro, the name I’ve used in relation to my music and graphic design business related productions.

Asking for help is one of the most difficult things I have ever had to do. I have always believed in working hard, finding solutions, and doing everything I can to support myself and the people who rely on me. However, I have reached a point where I need support to overcome a temporary but serious obstacle.

For quite some time, I have been unemployed despite actively searching for work and creating new opportunities wherever possible. Throughout this period, I have continued doing my best to care for my family and keep things together.

My mother is 55 years old and has lived with mental and physical disabilities for most of my life, meaning she relies on care and support. I also help support my 76-year-old grandmother, who retired after more than 20 years of service as a juvenile correctional officer.

  • Why This Vehicle Matters

My vehicle is not a luxury or convenience. It is the foundation that allows me to keep moving forward.

Without a safe and reliable car, I lose the ability to:

  • Search for employment and attend interviews
  • Accept job opportunities when they become available
  • Support my family’s needs
  • Take on side work and delivery opportunities
  • Continue rebuilding toward financial independence

Unfortunately, due to the vehicle’s age, high mileage, and the additional wear from delivery driving, it now requires maintenance and repairs more often which I just simply can’t currently afford on my own.

  • How Donations Will Be Used

The primary and immediate goal of this fundraiser is to cover essential vehicle maintenance and repairs, including:

  • Front and rear brake service and safety-related repairs
  • Oil change and routine maintenance
  • General upkeep required for an older, high-mileage vehicle
  • Any additional urgent repairs discovered during inspection

If additional funds are raised beyond the immediate repair costs, they will go toward providing basic necessities for my family.

Keeping my car safe and reliable is my top priority because it directly impacts my ability to work, support my family, and continue rebuilding my life.

Moving Forward

While I work through this immediate challenge, I’m also continuing to pursue my long-term goals. As previously stated, I’m a fully independent artist. By that, I mean that I am my own songwriter, music producer, audio engineer, graphic designer, publisher, and much more. When I have time between delivering food and driving friends, neighbors, etc. where they need to go, I’m also committed to building a future where I can support my family through my creativity and hard work. With that being said, please feel free to reach out if you or anyone you know is in the music industry.

It doesn’t just have to be music! I’ll produce anything for anybody who needs or MAY need ANY graphic designs from logos and graphics to full blown video advertisements with no need to worry about copyright issues that could arise with different advertising outlets.

Right now, my focus is overcoming the obstacles directly in front of me: keeping my transportation reliable, finding employment, and creating stability again.

Any support, no matter the amount, would make a meaningful difference. If you are unable to donate, sharing this fundraiser would be just as valuable and could help it reach someone who may be able to assist.

Thank you for taking the time to read my story and for any kindness, encouragement, or support you are able to offer. My goal is not to remain in this situation, but to overcome it, rebuild stability, and one day be in a position to help others who find themselves facing difficult seasons.

With gratitude,

Jason Agostarola
