Today, December 15 2025, my dad, a man of God, was detained by ice. My dad was the source of income for my family. He worked hard everyday for his family. Ours hearts are broken... but we know God is with us.
Today, around 11:45 a.m., an ICE watch-out page contacted me, informing me that my dad might have been detained by ICE. They told me the car he drove, and moments later, my father called my mother, confirming his detention status. They brought my brother to see him, but only for five minutes, during which my dad could only cry. He told my brother to take care of his baby boy. ICE agents told my dad he was going to Adelanto ICE detention center, where he will stay and await a court hearing. An hour later, my sister tried to visit my dad, but they told her he was going to San Isidro. Soon after, my brother received a call informing him that he is being taken to Mexico. My father’s sister, whom he hasn’t seen in 26 years, finally got a visa to visit the U.S., and they thought they would finally reunite. We believe God is working in the midst of our situation. We trust that God's presence is with our dad. Our dad is a righteous man, and I know God has not forsaken him. The commandment of the Lord will not leave our mouths. But today with a broken heart, we desperately ask for prayers and any donations.
