My name is Amanda and Im just mama trying to get back up on my feet and get myself but mainly my daughter a safe place to live. I have no family I can ask for help and I'm struggling to find a job that doesn't require me to be on my feet for hours at a time due to medical/health issues. My daughter means the world to me, she is the love of my life and I feel like I'm failing her. All I want is to be able to give her a safe roof over head like she deserves. We were unfortunately sleeping in our car but I knew that wasn't safe so I had to make the hardest decision and let her stay with my brother and sister in-law where I know she's safe at night while I continue sleeping in the car while I try and get us into a place. My biggest fear is that her father, who doesn't deserve that title will get what he wants and takes her to Mexico where he lives. He left when she was 11 months old and has contributed a whole $200 to help us out. He is a complete stranger to her and wants to rip her away from everything she's ever known. I hate asking for help but I know everyone needs a little help now and then. Any amount anyone is able to contribute will be more then appreciated and I promise to pay it forward when I can.
