Hybrid OTD SOTA
Support Our Inaugural Hybrid Doctor of Occupational Therapy Cohort
We are the inaugural cohort of a Hybrid Doctor of Occupational Therapy (OTD) program based in Charleston, South Carolina and are honored to be paving the way for future students.
Occupational therapy is a profession built on compassion, connection, and the belief that every person deserves the opportunity to participate in the activities that give life meaning. Whether helping a child learn to play, supporting a stroke survivor in regaining independence, or helping an older adult remain independent at home, occupational therapists look beyond a diagnosis and see the whole person. We chose this profession because we believe in restoring hope, promoting independence, and helping people return to the moments that matter most.
As we transition from the classroom into clinical fieldwork, we are raising funds to support our White Coat Ceremony, professional development, service initiatives, and other experiences that prepare us to become compassionate, evidence-based practitioners. Our fundraising goal reflects the cost of our white coats - symbols of the hard work, dedication, and commitment that have brought us to this milestone as we begin serving others through occupational therapy.
As a student-led organization, every donation - no matter the amount - helps invest in our future as occupational therapists and the countless individuals, families, and communities we will one day have the privilege of serving.
Thank you for believing in our cohort and in the future of occupational therapy!
