We are reaching out for urgent community support after our family's primary vehicle was recently impounded by the Independence Police Department.

For our family, this Kia Soul is far more than just transportation—it is currently our main place to sleep and holds virtually all of our personal belongings, essential daily items, and clothing. Being separated from our vehicle means we have lost both our primary shelter and access to everything we own.

Impound and daily storage fees add up rapidly, making it increasingly difficult for us to retrieve it on our own. Every dollar raised goes directly toward paying off the city impound fees and towing costs so we can get our car, our belongings, and our safe space back.
