Hello, my name is Kimberli (please call me Kim), and I am an honors student in my fourth year of college online at Southern New Hampshire University. I am working hard to build a secure future. Last year, I proudly earned my AA degree in Liberal Arts. My ultimate career goal is to train AI bots to be more human-relatable by recognizing cultural cues. I have just under two years left to finish my bachelor's degree and fully launch my career.

I have been trying to get back on my feet since leaving a toxic relationship a couple of months ago. I need to get a job, but because I struggle daily with Complex PTSD symptoms, remote work is a safer fit for my mental health. However, I cannot land a remote position without a stable home. Homelessness and not having a vehicle make it incredibly difficult to get plugged in & online to complete assignments. I think about how far I have come, everything I have endured, and the achievements I have made, and I don't want it to be for nothing. I am in danger of losing my enrollment. I am asking for your help so I can get out of this cycle of homelessness and live a productive and safe life. Starting over is hard enough, but starting over while being homeless and going to college is the hardest situation to turn around. I need that extra hand to pull me over this financial obstacle. You may be asking why I don't go to a shelter. Look at the reviews of these places and talk to some homeless people about these places. The experiences are horrible, and they are just a temporary fix. I do not need a temporary fix; I need to end the cycle.

I need help getting into a small place for my service animal and me. With your help, we will be off the streets, safe, and forever grateful to you.

How My Donation Will Be Used

I have set my emergency goal at $5,000, which will secure a safe environment to live and work from while I finish my degree.

• $5,000 (Housing Stability): To cover the deposit and first two months of rent for a small efficiency apartment. This gives me a safe place to live and a 60-day window to land a remote position and receive my first paychecks. I have found a few places under $900 a month, and they're new! Also for utility deposits and the first two monthly bills, furniture, home necessities, cookware, dishes, etc.
