Support a Senior on SSI Disability – A Helping Hand

Hi everyone,

I am reaching out today because I need a helping hand. As a senior living on a fixed SSI disability income, making ends meet is a daily challenge. Right now, I am facing unexpected expenses that my monthly check simply cannot cover.

I am launching this fundraising to ask my community, and kind strangers for support.

Every dollar raised will go directly toward essential living needs, medical expenses, and staying safe.

As a woman at my age it's impossible to keep a roof over my head because I'm unable to work.

I've also exhausted my savings completely.

S.S.I.D doesn't even cover a small percentage of my living expense.

I've been on and off homeless because of this.

I'm living in a apartment now that I don't want to lose and I'm grateful for it although it might not be much.

Unfortunately I require care permanently for the rest of my life.

My friends and family have already helped out the most they could.

I've always been prideful when it comes to asking for handouts and I'm at my wits end now and can no longer handle all of this without help. I've reached out to many agencies for assistance including housing and nothing has transpired from it.

I do frequent food banks.
