14 days from freedom

Losing My Battle and Everything Else

Fourteen days before I was scheduled to complete probation, my probation officer violated me.

I wasn't violated for drugs or alcohol. I've been clean and sober for 19 months and have worked hard every day to rebuild my life.

The problem was transportation.

The transmission in my truck went out, leaving me without reliable transportation. Around the same time, I lost my job. With my driver's license suspended, I wasn't willing to risk driving illegally or getting into further trouble. When I needed to report, I tried to find a ride, but everyone I knew was working and unavailable.

Now, after nearly two years of staying sober and doing everything I could to turn my life around, I'm facing possible jail time just two weeks before the end of my probation.

I've been helping my landlord with work around the property in exchange for patience and understanding while I've struggled financially, but things are becoming difficult for her as well. I'm now at risk of losing my home, my stability, and everything I've worked so hard to rebuild.

I'm asking for help with rent, utilities, and basic living expenses while I fight to keep my life together. Every donation, no matter the amount, helps. If you're unable to donate, sharing my fundraiser would mean the world to me.

More than anything, I'm trying to protect the life I've rebuilt and continue being present for my son. After 19 months of sobriety, I'm fighting to keep my freedom, my home, and the progress I've worked so hard to achieve

Thank you for taking the time to read my story and for supporting someone who is trying their best to stay on the right path.
