I would like to begin by giving my most sincere empathy to anyone facing the challenges associated with facing any chronic medical concerns. I know there are an overwhelming amount of people young and old who struggle and fight everyday to do anything they can to provide for their families. I am no different. Over the last 2 years I have been beaten into submission by a perforated large intestine, a year with an infected abdominal drain that would leak everyday. And then 2 major abdominal surgeries to create an ostomy and then to reverse an ostomy. I have pushed my body through recoveries and await a third surgery to now repair the aftermath of abdominal damage from not recovering properly trying to work as much as possible. I have been not asked for help and it pains me greatly to be here typing this because I know in this world there are young mothers and elderly sick that need help also. I know there are people who have it way more challenging and I wish so badly to help those in need. As soon as I am healthy i would love to put my skills as a contractor to work creating spaces for those in need to rest comfortably. This will remain an ambition of mine and a project for the future. Right now my family is faced with moving and we cannot afford to move my fiancée and daughter and pets. Every morning is an onslaught of bills calling about car payments and repossessions and phones being shut off. I am at a loss and will always offer my time and work ethic to help or make anything I can. It’s just not enough so now I am asking for help. I am always going to pay back or pay forward to the future but right this second my family is about to lose everything and potentially be separated from each other because of the toll of illness.
