Hello my name is Carleen Iam the mother of Amiyah the reason why I started this page is because I am trying to find a cure & buy some prescription glasses that are not covered by insurance company that have tent.My daughter Amiyah which just turned 8 yrs old she has Retinal Dystrophy in her eyes which she has been ruled legally blind this has been a horrible nightmare for her. She should be enjoying life like other children should be but she is very insecure doesn't want to speak out at school she has special services at school she doesn't like to join in with other children or teachers because she claims she can't see what there doing. She has dreams like every child does one day she wants to become a veterinarian she Love's Horse's & puppies. She's a die hard Mike trout fan she loves the Angels. She wants to go to Disneyland & fly to Hilo Hawaii to see some sea turtles before her vision is completely gone she understands & is a very bright kid she's preparing her self because she runs into things huge/small things and trips on her face constantly, now at birthday parties it's hard watching everyone have fun but her. She Loves Art work that is done by her dad which dedicates all his work to his big fan. #1 person who has reached out to help us is Angel baby he has been a big support to her & has been a true loyal buddie to her. She Loves music and Loves listening to Chill Aguilar's music which makes her feel better when she's not feeling well even when she is as for her other singer She Love's Gwen Stefani. She is so kind & well mannered and always telling me it's OK mom don't worry I know you feed us first before you feed your self & you help us & others first and you never do for your self. Thank you for fighting to find some kind of cure for me I Love you Mama & I Love Daddy too. She makes me feel like Our guardian Angels are talking through her. Well we are trying to do a fundraiser by getting rid of any kind of her dad's art peices it all goes to her medical & her wish bucket list which is not big it's only two things that see wants to visual before her vision is completely gone. This has been a horrible nightmare to her. I have a job I work around clock but I might have to stop so I can take her to her to her bucket list and grant her wishes Financially I can't right now because it will send me down under.
