Bailey's Road to Recovery
We are asking for assistance with Bailey's Road to Recovery. Bailey was injured on her 21st Birthday and has sustained a substancial amount of trauma to her head. She was kept alive with a machine that breathed for her as well as a feeding tube and many other necessary measures. With multiple skull fractures, 3 separate types of Brain Bleeds and many contusions her journey to recovery could be a long one. Bailey is a very hard worker and is extremely motivated and can't wait to be back on track. Bailey is a Certified Women's Gymnastics Judge, Gymnastics Coach and Mother of her two year old little boy who is the air that she breathes. Prior to her incident, Bailey worked out on a daily basis and has a lot of drive. Her son is what drives her today to make a full recovery. Although her journey could be a long one, it is by all means attainable. Time plays the main role simply because it is time the brain needs to absorb the excess blood in her head and time is needed for the swelling to discipate. There is a constant ringing in her ear that will eventually subside as the skull heals itself. There is a bone behind her ear that is broken in two separate places. Pressure, fractures and swelling have caused loss of hearing in her right ear, pain in her eye and issues with her sinus cavity as well as some vertigo. Because of the swelling, it is hard for the brain to send strong communication signals to the rest of her body which in short has caused some mild seizure like activities. This will all go away as swelling reduces. Time and prayer are all Bailey needs as her self discipline and desire to recover are in no way lacking.. In addition, we are asking for your help as Bailey will be temporarily out of work and is also relocating her residency. Your help will assist us in medications that our insurance is not covering, as well as relocating expenses that have incurred in addition to travel and therapy expenses. We would not be surprised if Bailey's Road to Recovery does not turn out to be such a long one - Afterall, doctors are calling her a miracle. Donate today to help make Bailey's journey a smooth one. If you are unable to donate, then please share because the more it is shared, FreeFunder donates in accordance. Thank-you in advance for your love and time. We appreciate it more than you know. - The Holden Family
