Bonnie's Recovery From Friends

Greetings all, my name is Bonnie Bankhead.  I recently experienced a personal setback of enormous proportions when the culmination of nine years of struggle finally caught up with me Between juggling credit card payments, getting a second mortgage, living off the credit card, enduring poverty level income, handling emergency home repairs, the loss of two old cars and having to purchase a new one, driving from 45 minutes to one hour one way to work (double that for to and from), residing 20 miles away from the nearest store, and attempting to hold everything down by myself, there was no time to grieve the death of my mother even.

Now, I have phyical and mental challenges that are making it very difficult for me to secure a stable income.  I have no retirement, probably partially due to making poor choices while mentally disabled.

I have PTSD with relational issues which results from child abuse in the family home.  As the only child during an era when no one discussed these things, I am just now coming to face what has been a stumbling block to me obtaining exceptional employment during my entire working life.  I am capable of so much more and the struggle to believe this is very real for me.  I also suffer from major depression.  While I never compare my life's experiences with those of others, at least no longer, I can face my own as they affected me.  I have no idea what it means for anyone to love me unconditionally.  No idea at all.  And, if I were to consciously dwell on that thought it would be paralyzingly depressing.  Fortunately, I have some measure of motivation.

The gutter has been in disrepair since the triple snow play of 2010; that is fairly evident in the picture.  The estimate for that was $2000. back then and I have yet to afford that.  Now, there is indicia of leakage in certain areas of the ceiling.

Look, I am humbled to put my story here.  If you feel inclined to assist, blessings upon you. If you feel inclined to pray, blessings upon you.  If you read this and are inclined to do nothing, blessings upon you.  Your time is very valuable and I respect that.

One love.
