As most of you know, I am currently working toward my Bachelor's degree in Social Work. This two-week educational opportunity involves global seminar which comprehensively, addresses concepts of human rights, and different approaches to addressing social issues through the powerful lens of historical tragedy. Further, instruction will be provided that will teach advocacy skills to initiate social policy change through hands-on experience. The experience of this conference will assist me in achieving my life and career goals; goals that aim to change the social welfare system for the benefit of all people. Along with this fund page, I created an event page on Facebook promoting a fundraiser party that will benefit my trip.
