Hey guys and gals it's Mommashan and I have a mission that needs your help!!!

I am a volunteer with the youth program at my church and there is a winter retreat in January. The way these kids chase after God blows my mind and ministers to me on a regular basis and I want to honor that.

I have come to learn that a lot of teens are not alone on the outside but they sure do feel like it more of the time than we realize on the inside. Some families just do not have the funds to be able to go, especially so close after Christmas. It is very important to me that while these kids are going thru all that they encounter in life, that they understand and know that there is an army of people that are behind them, cheering them on, lifting them up, and wanting the absolute best for them.

The vision I have is raising some funds to help a few be able to go and then in turn they go and love on the community. They are willing to work for it, which quite honestly can be rare with some teens nowadays. However, I want us to be able to go do things for people that can't pay for it. Single moms that need their leaves raked, the grumpiest person on the block getting their trash taken out, visiting the nursing home, making something and taking it to the fire station down their street. I want to give them the opportunity to think outside the box and find ways to spread love thru the community in different ways.

I want to create a circle of love for them to operate in....if people help and the kids see people that they cannot repay love on them by donating, then they can turn around and love on people that cannot pay them.
