Hi everybody,

If you don't know it, it has been brought to my attention that Grampy has been falling a lot lately.  I know he fell several time while here with us last year, and he has fallen and stayed the night on the floor!  He has just fallen twice last week, and it is getting very hard for him to get around on those old knees of his, even with a cane or push buggie.  I think for his health and safety, he needs a lift chair for the living room, and an electric scooter to get around the home to keep him from falling.  The bad news is that his insurance will not cover it all.  A chair will cost $1,168.00 and a scoot around will cost between $1275.00 and $2,000 according to Weller Home Medical.  His insurance will pay $227.97 for the mechanism of the chair and that's it!  So, if his 4 kids pitched in it would be $555 a piece.  Brittani had the great idea of making this page and letting all friends and family donate.  I know people have things in life making it hard to come up with that kind of money, trust me I know, I haven't worked in 2 years, but I am willing to do whatever it takes to make sure my dad stays safe and healthy.  Please join me in trying to fund Grampy's chairs.  I appreciate it.
