Help H3 Missions Save Lives in Haiti
H3 Missions has worked in Haiti since the 2010 earthquake. We are committed to continue to build human capacity. A small group of us were in Haiti a few days before hurricane Matthew slammed the island, planning H3 Missions' March 2017 Cervical Cancer Screening.
Areas where we had been just days before, such as Kenscoff, were destroyed by 145 mph winds and 20 – 30 inches or more of rain. In the Southwest, crops that were in the fields about to be harvested were torn out of the ground, livestock were drowned by the flash floods or the storm surge and fishing boats which provided income for the fishing industry, were ripped from their moorings and sunk at sea. Food stores and seed inventory were decimated by the winds, and water wells were contaminated with muddy water containing everything that washed downhill. Cholera and other waterborne diseases are now an ever growing threat to public health. People in the Southwest and Northwest now have no homes, no clothes, no food or water, and no hope.
H3Missions is working with other organizations to provide relief supplies to those affected in Haiti.
We are collecting funds to provide water filtration systems, tarps, rope, tin, meals, medical supplies and other pertinent items to Haiti. With YOUR HELP, we plan to ship a container with these relief supplies within the next four weeks.
Please donate on this site, remember to share this page on your site. All donations received between today and the end of November will go exclusively to purchase and send relief supplies to those affected by the hurricane in Haiti. Checks can also be made out to H3Missions and mailed to H3Missions, Inc., P.O. Box 53202, Riverside, CA 92517. Please contribute NOW to help those so desperately in need. Thank you…
