Hi everyone, this is Tina and Michelle Smith (Larry's daughters). Larry is currently in the hospital and has been for the last 12 days.  Michelle took Larry  to the hospital 12 days ago and has been with him and his doctors every step of the way. He was admitted to Baptist Health in Paducah KY with sepsis, double pneumonia and heart complications.  The hospital immediately put him on a vent and he is sedated. Due to being on a vent for a prolonged amount of time, they need to perform a tracheostomy, however he isn't well enough for them to perform the surgery as needed.  In the meantime, the hardheaded man hasn't been able to communicate with his loved ones.  Larry's heart is in distress, in order to perform surgery he must improve.  The medical expenses are astounding and he stands to lose him home. We ask for prayers that he survives this.  His loved ones are doing their best to ensure he has a home to return to if he can pull through.  He is strong willed, anyone who knows him, knows he wont go without a fight! Any Help we receive will go directly to Larry's care and home expenses.  His recovery will be long and difficult. This is the fight of his lifetime, and bless his heart we would love to be able to have the comfort of his own home to bring him back to.
