My name is Heather Carlow,

I'm a hard-working mom married with three wonderful children. We were evicted from our home 2 months ago and are staying at a motel paying over $420 a week. We are seeking assistance with finding a place to live. Currently there are no funds for residents of the city of Portland to help families. The shelters are all overcrowded and we don't have enough money to find a place to live. We can afford to pay rent and bills once we get a place, however we are unable to come up with enough to get into a place. Most places require First month Last month and security along with application fees. I created this campaign in hopes that we could get help from the kindness of the public.

What Will I Do With The Money? Use it towards 1st months rent and security deposit once we find a place. The average 3 bedroom in Portland goes for approx 1400 or more a month with utilities not included.
