Hurricane Mathew rebuild fund
Hello everyone,
I am just really trying to recover and be able to move on after the devastation of Hurricane Mathew on my family. The storm was awful ! We had high winds and trees downed and terrible flooding . We are NOT in what is considered flood zone so there is no insurance . My older sons whole first floor room was sitting in several ft. of water for days and most of his stuff is ruined. Then the complex gives him termination lease stating they found asbestos while doing the clean up . With lil to no money and definitely no extra to replace or rebuild and now , my son has no place to go with complex termination ! Our whole family is in upheaval as to what to do. My son has nothing as he lost all his belongings and furniture from being in first floor and we lost 2 vehicles (mine and my sons) from tree breaking crashing on top crushing them and all water from flooding . We are trying our best to move on from this devastating blow in our lives. Please give If you can as EVERY LITTLE BIT WILL HELP!
All money collected will be used to replace things lost and for funds needed to secure working vehicles we can use for work and help with replacement of lost furnishings and continued living arrangements or Lord willing, maybe able to find new place to call home. God Bless you all and even if you have no money to give PLEASE PRAY FOR US AND THE OTHERS TRYING TO REBUILD after Hurricane Mathew. Thank you for your time and God Bless. This is a statement in a paper and from news crew that came out to Sons complex ..., VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. - More than 168 homes in the Waypoint at Lynnhaven apartment complex are in unlivable conditions because of flooding.
On Tuesday, people living in first-floor units were throwing away furniture soaked with potentially toxic flood water and hauling away water-logged carpets and cabinetry.
Now they have all been given EVICTION NOTICES that leases will terminate at end of this month due to Asbestos found while doing clean up and so they have to terminate leases of all first floor apts affected by flood damage. You are hereby are NOT ALLOWED back into your places of residence because of asbestos poisoning concerns. My son lost EVERYTHING!!
