Hello,

My name is Phyllis Garnett. I am running this crowd campaign to help a refuge mother and family funeralize and bury her son who was killed in a car accident on New Year's Day. Such a tragic way to begin the New Year for this family.

Your donations will go to the full funeral service and burial. This Refugee mother and family is in need of our help as they are still learning and becoming acquainted to the American customs. This is a very frightening and stressful time for the mother who currently is not employed and speaks little English. Pastor Fred Mainda of the Linwood International Congregation is facilitating the arrangements with Jean Shyaka's mother there is a refugee agency interpreter assisting with the language barrier as well. All donations are securely deposited into a special account for Jean.
