NOTE: Joe Hollaway has passed away. Sadly, his time was very short. This is a working class family, and there was no life insurance, so we are trying to raise funds for Joe's burial and to catch up on expenses for bills that were unpaid while Robbie missed work caring for Joe. My tenant and friend Robbie Hollaway and her family just discovered that her husband, Joe "Bodie" Hollaway,  has squamous cell Stage 4 carcinoma in his liver and other places.He also has severe heart problems, so he cannot have surgery or undergo chemo. They have sent him home on hospice, and have no idea whether it will be weeks or months. This family was already struggling, and Joe has no life insurance or burial benefits. His wife also has no transportation, and is missing work due to the fact that someone has to always be with him, and she is also his medical liaison. This Native American family has great faith and hope, but few resources. We have set the goal for this fund to include support funds for the family, since we do not know how long Joe's battle will be, or the costs incurred, as well as funds to provide a proper burial and funeral. If we raise enough to take care of that and provide Robbie with transportation as well, that will be a blessing.
