Lilly's Service/Senior Project
Hello Family and Friends!
I have the opportunity to volunteer and travel to places in order to help others. I recently applied and was accepted to serve with Hope Youth Corps in Oahu, Hawaii. Did you know that Hawaii has the largest homelessness rate in the Nation? Most of the the trip we will be working at an orphanage and spending time with the elderly. However, in order to make this trip possible I need your help. The entire trip will cost over $2500 (including travel, food, lodging and program fees). I had some birthday money saved up, so I was able to pay for the initial $300 application fee which will be applied towards the overall trip. I need your help to raise the rest of the money. Will you please help support me? Any amount: $20, $50, $100 or more will be greatly appreciated. As part of this experience, I will be taking lots of pictures and writing a report to share with all of you. Thank you and please pray that God will protect and use me to encourage those that so desperately need it!
God Bless,
Lilly Mercado
