Why Am I Running This Campaign? Both my roommate and I are disabled after 40 plus years of working, each. Our health insurance only pays for very little therapy so we need transportation to and from the community center to use the pool for water therapy, doctors appointments, grocery store, etc. Our insurance does give us the opportunity to participate in the silver sneakers program.This will probably be poo-pooed by all but, every time we have a little extra money something breaks. This week it was the dryer and the toilet. Not being able to work keeps us from getting the overtime and bonuses that our jobs allowed us. Maybe if I can get better with the therapy I can get something part-time to help us out.
