Robotics Team Going To Houston
Hello, we are Operation T.A.C. (Technology and Character), a FIRST Lego League (FLL) robotics team for kids ages 9-14. We are siblings and our dad is our head coach and our mom is our project coach. We also have a core values coach. His name is Adam and he is also our chess coach and close family friend. Our little sisters are our Lego sorters and cheering squad. Our little brother is also part of the cheering squad, but his specialty is ensuring the mechanical resilience of our designs and making sure our robot performs well, even under heavy slobber.
We love FLL so much that we started mentoring another team, as well. In the four years we've competed, God has blessed us with winning 13 awards! This year, by God's grace, we won the Southern California Championship and will compete this April in the World Festival in Houston, Texas! What a God-thing!
To get to Houston, we need to raise $6,700. This covers the cost of a tournament fee, flights, hotel, van rental, food, etc for the whole team (including coaches and cheering squad).
