Dr. Frank T. Pilney has performed or led more than 5500 procedures and has worked tirelessly toward not just the front end, but the back end administration, coordination of surgical team travel and securing necessary permits and shipping materiel to geographically distant locations. Now 82 years young, he is down there for his 36th year performing surgery along side a team of more than 60 staff doctors, nurses and anesthesiologists. These professionals are not compensated for their expenses or travel and donate freely their time and money to see that the charity doesn't spend money on anything except the children.
