A Baby for the Cook's
God has a plan and a timeline for all of us. We do not always know why things turn out the way that they do, however, I know it's God's plan and He is right on time. We have prayed for many years for this moment and God has laid it on our hearts that this is our path. We are embarking on a new and challenging journey in our lives and we are so excited and grateful for the opportunity that we are being given.
Jeremiah 29 11-14
For nearly 7 years, Jeff and I have been trying to get pregnant and have exhausted all possible avenues to try to achieve our desire to become parents. We began with tracking and timing things just right. Then, we began using oral medications that were unfortunately unsuccessful. We have since been patiently waiting and praying for a miracle.
We hope to be the best parents we can be. We are devoted to God, His work, and to our marriage. Our marriage is a testament to us all of how we should serve one another and what "in sickness and in health" really means. We have prayed, confided in close friends and family, and now feel peace to proceed with IVF treatment. This treatment is an amazing opportunity for anyone desiring to become a parent. We believe that our miracle is around the corner, but we need your help and support!
If you are in any way familiar with IVF, you will know it is a costly treatment and that it is very taxing physically and emotionally. First and foremost, we would like to ask for PRAYER. If you can give monetarily it would be extremely helpful and much appreciated. Everything given will cover the actual IVF treatment and all related expenses. We believe God is in control and our best days are ahead of us and yours are as well.
I want to leave you with a Scripture that has been in our hearts!
Jeremiah 29 11-14
11 For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. 12 In those days when you pray, I will listen. 13 If you look for me wholeheartedly, you will find me. 14 I will be found by you,” says the Lord. “I will end your captivity and restore your fortunes. I will gather you out of the nations where I sent you and will bring you home again to your own land.”
Keep your eyes on the Lord and BE BRAVE.
