A blind man in need
Hi, I’m a 53 year old truck driver and 3D figurine artist. For over 16 years, I’ve worked hard to make ends meet, putting in long hours on the road and pouring my heart into creating tiny, detailed pieces of art that bring joy to others. But now, glaucoma is threatening to take away the one thing I depend on most—my eyesight.
I’ve been diagnosed with advanced glaucoma, and my vision is deteriorating fast. This condition is not only affecting my ability to work safely as a truck driver but also making it incredibly difficult to continue my art—something that’s been a huge part of my life and healing. I’ve reached a point where I need help.
I’m seeking to raise funds to cover:
Ongoing eye treatments and medications not fully covered by insurance
Specialist visits and possible surgical intervention to slow the vision loss
Monthly living expenses while I’m unable to work
Tools and adaptive equipment to continue my 3D figurine work with limited vision
I’ve always been independent, and it’s not easy to ask for help. But the truth is, I’m scared of losing not just my sight, but the life I’ve built around it. Your support—whether financial or simply by sharing my storcan help give me a fighting chance to maintain my independence and continue creating while I still can.
Every dollar makes a difference. Every share spreads hope.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for reading
