A Community of Care
Over sixty years ago, Aunt Eva and Uncle George began a journey together that would be marked by faith, service, and love for their community. Throughout six decades of marriage, they have lived lives defined by service. They were the neighbors who delivered surprise sweets during the holidays, mowed and edged the lawns of neighbors in need before the HOA could levy a fine, listened to those carrying heavy burdens, and drove elderly neighbors to the grocery store and bank when their own families were unable to help. Most importantly, they remained faithful to God and served their church community until declining health made it impossible to continue. Their kindness has touched countless lives over the years.
This campaign is sponsored by Best Daughters Works, LLC. Eight months ago, many of the members of Best Daughters Works were strangers to one another. Now we are united by one purpose: helping Aunt Eva and Uncle George. We are Clarisa, Brenda, Cheryl, Kemi, and Valencia. We chose our name because each of us has walked the journey of caring for a parent or loved one. We know both the challenges and the blessings that come with that responsibility. Although we come from different backgrounds and professions, we share a belief that no family should have to face overwhelming hardship alone. BDW was created to provide an organized and transparent way to coordinate fundraising and support for Aunt Eva and Uncle George. Our mission is to help meet their medical, housing, and related needs through responsible stewardship of community donations. Our initial fundraising goal is $50,000 to help address existing medical debt, critical housing repairs, and other urgent needs that will improve their safety and quality of life.
Our purpose is to help George and Eva rebuild with dignity, hope, and community support. As they face overwhelming medical debt and urgent repairs to their home, we want to honor their legacy of service by rallying the community to support them in their time of need. Every donation, no matter the size, will make a difference in helping them recover and regain stability. We invite you to join us in supporting Aunt Eva and Uncle George. Your donation—no matter the amount—will help them overcome medical debt, repair their home, and restore hope. Please share this fundraiser with friends and family so we can rally together and show them they’re not alone.
