Educational Stability
For the past several months, I have been prayerfully navigating a legal situation regarding my children’s education. For the last 3 years, my girls have attended a private Christian school where they have truly flourished—academically, socially, and emotionally. This school has gone above and beyond not only for my children, but for many families in our community. They use accredited curriculum, have dedicated and qualified teachers, and participate in programs like the Hope Scholarship to make education more accessible.
A disagreement arose regarding their continued attendance, despite prior alignment on Christian education. My children have consistently expressed a strong desire to remain where they are, and my focus throughout this process has been on maintaining stability and continuity for them. They are thriving in their current environment, and that stability is something I deeply value as their mother.
I have always taken responsibility for school-related expenses beyond standard supplies, and I have done everything within my means to support their education. My children are still able to participate in county sports and activities, and I remain committed to supporting their involvement in anything they are passionate about.
Recently, a court decision requires a change from their current christian school to another private christian school or public unless it is successfully appealed. One of the available options is financially out of reach for me as a single working mother of four. My position has never been about one school versus another, but about preserving consistency and stability for my children during a time when they have already experienced significant challenges and changes outside of my control.
At this time, I am seeking to raise a minimum of $3,500 to continue through the appeals process. Due to a change in legal representation, my financial resources have been fully exhausted.
Any support—whether through donations, prayers, or simply sharing—means more than I can express as I continue to advocate for my children’s best interests. ❤️
