Fourteen years ago, my marriage and family were picture perfect. My husband and I were best friends. We loved each other with all we had. Over several years we grew together, had two great kids and went through all the ups and downs life could possibly throw at us. At times it got pretty rough, but no matter the circumstances, we both knew we had each other. He used to tell me “baby I love you so much and that’s all we need. As long as we got our love, we will be ok.” I’d say after about eight years or so, that strong unbreakable bond we had wore thinner and thinner and somewhere along the way, he lost that love. He became very mentally and physically abusive and began to cheat on me as well. That went on for a few years and when Covid took my mother, who was my rock, he knew I was completely helpless and now he has become so unloving and even makes our children miserable. He ruins everything for them and when he is home, we are fighting. I’m tired of my children watching me fall to pieces everyday. If we could get any donations, it’ll be put towards fixing my car, putting a payment down on a place and turning on the utilities, buying the necessities that we will have to leave behind. Anything is appreciated.
