A Mom losing hope.
Hello,
My name is B, I never imagined I would be in a position where I had to ask for help.
Earlier this year I lost my job, and I truly believed I would find another one before things got this bad. I did everything I could to keep my family going. I stretched every dollar, used my unemployment to cover our bills, and made sure my children had what they needed. When those benefits ran out, I was left trying to figure out how to keep everything together.
I have never been at this point before. I am completely overwhelmed and honestly struggling to see a way forward. My account is empty, I am behind on utility bills, and my car broke down and needs repairs. Without reliable transportation, everything has become even harder.
One of the hardest parts has been watching my son miss his therapy appointments because I have not been able to drive him. My son has autism, and his therapy is important for his growth and development. Knowing that my situation has caused him to miss something he needs has been heartbreaking.
On top of everything else, I recently experienced the loss of my baby in June. This has been one of the hardest seasons of my life emotionally and financially. I am trying my best to keep going for my children, but I am at a point where I truly need help.
With school approaching, I also need to get uniforms and basic essentials for my three children. As a mom, it is painful to admit that I cannot provide these things right now.
Asking for help is one of the hardest things I have ever done. I have always tried to handle things on my own and be the person others could depend on, but right now I need someone to help me get through this difficult moment.
Any donation, no matter the amount, will help me repair my car, catch up on essential bills, get my children the things they need for school, and help my son get back to his therapy appointments while I continue searching for work and rebuilding our lives.
If you are not able to donate, sharing this fundraiser could mean just as much.
Thank you for taking the time to read my story. Your kindness and support mean more than I can explain. I am holding onto hope that this is only a difficult chapter and that better days are ahead.
