Hello, my name is Crystal, and I found myself in a situation I never imagined I would face. As a single mother of two young children, I have always worked hard to provide for my family. I am currently employed at Metalsa in Elizabethtown, contributing to the production of frames for Ford vehicles. However, life took an unexpected turn when I suffered a serious injury in July 2022 that has since spiraled into a challenging journey.

In the course of my work, I broke my foot in three places, leading to a complex surgery to insert a screw for a severe Jones fracture. Unfortunately, the healing process did not go as planned, and I recently underwent a second surgery, involving a bone graft.
