A place to call home
My name is April. I'm a 49 year old woman and mother and grandmother. I recently was diagnosed with a disease called Charcot disease. Which is a double amputee diagnosis. I've worked my whole life and try to give to as many people as I can and help as much as I can. But lately things have switched. I was taken for $2,500 on a Mobile mechanic. My husband lost his job and really put us in a financial bind. He got another job but it doesn't pay very much. We struggle every month and now I'm worried if anything happens to me or him we are homeless. My kids don't have room for us and my dream is to buy a couple acres and put a little building on it. Then I can save and add to it. But I'll know it's mine. Rent is killing us. I don't know what to do we struggle every month just to keep our utilities on because the cost of our rent is so high. I know everybody's struggling I can't even afford food most of the time but if you're not on welfare which we make I think a couple dollars too much and if you have money you don't need this site so where do the people go that are stuck in the middle?? Nobody wants to help the people that are willing to work and willing to fight. Sorry just venting now. I just want to make sure I have a place did I can lay my head at night . Thank you for listening and if you have any questions please feel free to ask
