Hello Friends and Family of Abigail Kuiper. As many of you know, Abigail found out that she has Stage 4 Breast Cancer this past June. I know that many of you like myself, have experienced the amazing person that Abigail is. She is not only an amazing mom to 3 awesome kids, and wife to Jason, but she is one of the most kind, compassionate, wise, and spiritually deep people I have ever known. Having gotten to work beside Abigail in a couple different jobs, I have seen how God has impacted many people for His kingdom through the deep wisdom and compassion He has given her for others. I know many of you have experienced how loving, kind, and wise Abigail is and how she will fight for the underdog and for what is right. I praise God that He created her to be a fighter, because this is the biggest fight she will ever battle. My prayer is that she will know that she is not alone in this huge battle before her.

I know she is loved and that many of you, like me, have been wondering how you may help the Kuipers through Abigail's battle with Breast Cancer. As you can imagine, this process is not only physically and emotionally taxing, but the financial burden is also significant. They do have an insurance plan that will help cover some of their medical costs, however with Abigail's diagnosis of stage 4, the battle will be for the rest of her life. With that there will be yearly meeting their deductibles, treatment for the rest of her life and continuous travel expenses related to treatment, scans, and other appointments at MD Anderson in the Houston area. Along with conventional treatment, Abigail will also be seeking integrative care which much of this is not covered by health insurance. This is also very costly. With this being said, the Kuipers' out-of-pocket expenses are anticipated to be well over $50,000.
