The woman's life has been a relentless storm of abuse and trauma, beginning in early childhood with her own parents and brothers. Used for drugs and money, she was thrust into a series of foster homes where she faced further neglect and mistreatment. She finally found what she thought what a home where she was finally safe but her sister tried to end her life numerous times and severely hurt her. Adopted at 7, she endured horrific physical abuse from her adoptive parents until she ran away so much that she didn’t want to go back . At 18, she sought refuge with her biological parents, but the cycle of exploitation and abuse continued, leading to a forced marriage. For ten years, she was trapped in a marriage filled with physical and emotional torment, her children witnessing some of the violence. Desperate to protect them from the life she had, she made the agonizing decision to sign temporary custody over to her ex-in-laws, hoping to shield them from further harm and her now ex husband doing drugs. Now, battling severe pain from ovarian torsion, she is physically unable to work. She is homeless and needs help to get her vehicle on the road and to get a house and food until she can get food stamps and surgery. Living in a toxic Airbnb environment that exacerbates her PTSD and anxiety, she is desperately trying to regain stability so she can reunite with her children and provide them with the life she always promised.
