Hi y’all

My name is Steffan and I am going to Israel/Palestine with the plan to participate in Protective Presence (Protect the Harvest) and Activism Fellowship (NIF Naomi Chazan Global Activism Fellowship) I was selected for.

I hope you’ll consider donating to my fundraiser in my effort to create real impact, utilize the privilege I have in Israel/Palestine, and learn through first hand experience, which I can then utilize to drive change here in the US. Funds raised will cover costs to travel to the region and the Protective Presence. The fellowship (Nov 3-10) will cover all my accommodations and food during its runtime. Any funds not going to directly to my flight out there, will go be split between Protect the Harvest, Standing Together, and my friend Ahmed Jahjouh’s campaign to sustain his family in Gaza.

Building a better future where all people in the land have rights, legal protection, justice, and means to live a stable safe life has become integral to my personal mission. As a Jewish American, who deeply values my culture, but is reconciling with its weaponization, being a part of creating change feels a necessary part of wrestling with what it means to be Jewish for me.
