I'm the mother of four adult children and seven grandchildren. I'm living in East Tennessee after moving here from Iowa 10 years ago. With my declining health and financial hardships I haven't been able to see all of my kids together at the same time in over 10 years. I'd love to have all of my kids come here for a visit, but I can't afford the expense it would take and my children don't have the financial ablitly to travel for us all to see the other. It's been over ten years since we've all seen each other and spent any quality time together. A lot of any extra money was spent when my kids were all here recently when I was unexpectedly admitted in the CCU, but I didn't get to see any of them outside of the brief hospital visits. For anyone understanding how important it is to reunite a family after 10 years then you'll know why this would mean the world to me. I don't know what our future holds, but I have a great need to see all of my children together with me, at least one more time. It's terribly sad to me that after working hard and being good people that it's $$$$$ preventing me from spending time with my family and from us coming together as one.
