Hey everyone, my name is Brian Sanfilippo, and I’m reaching out with hope in my heart.

Not long ago, I had my own apartment and was working hard to build a stable life. But when I lost my job, everything changed. Without income, I couldn’t keep up with rent or even basic needs like food. I had to leave my home and move back in with my parents the only place left to go.

My parents were living in a small mobile home before, and they’re struggling too. My dad is retired and can’t work anymore, and my mom works tirelessly as a caregiver, spending long, exhausting days just to help us get by. Watching her work so hard while I fight to find my footing again has been one of the hardest things I’ve ever experienced.

At one point, I was even homeless for a few days. Things got really bad, and I couldn’t afford much in the U.S. With no other options, I had to move to Mexico & try to rebuild my life from there.

I’ve gone 9 years without health insurance, and even basic expenses feel heavy right now.

My dream is simple: to help my parents live comfortably, to one day buy them a home, and to rebuild our lives with dignity and peace. Some days are tough, but I’m holding on to hope and doing my best to stay strong.
