So our precious daughter, Ainsley, was born with a congenital heart defect called pulmonary valve stenosis. There was a chance it could get better or worse after birth. Hers got a little worse. We have been watching and hoping it would start getting better, but our luck it hasn't. So now at 4 months old, lil Ainsley needs heart surgery. We live in Reno and have to travel to Las Vegas for the surgery. Hopefully they can do just a small incision through the groin, but it may need to be open heart surgery. We won't know til we go for initial surgery. 2020 has been rough for most of us. 2021 isn't much better at this point. I have no pto at work since I am just back from maternity leave. I almost died after delivering her due to hemorrhaging and ended up with a hysterectomy and a blood transfusion. My husband is only a year away from finishing his degree (should of been 6 months, but covid pushed it back). We would truly appreciate any help we can get for travel and lodging expenses and time off work to get our lil girl on a path to recovery and a normal life. She has been a true blessing and is such a sweet lil girl. Her smile just melts my heart ❤
