"KAD-ADE" is at it AGAIN!

In 2019 “Kad-Ade” was born. (Think "Farm-Aid" but with the namesakes of "KAD"en and "ADE"lla.) Kaden and Adella Sheahan wanted to help local families who had lost everything in a local devastating apartment fire. They asked their Daddy to make them a Lemonade stand, and we squeezed fresh lemons to make delicious homemade lemonade! With the help of the local community and great neighbors, our weekend lemonade stand raised $1000. Enough to provide each of 40 families with a $25 gift card to try to restock some essentials.

This year they are backing Mommy's pledge to help raise money for Alex's Lemonade Stand. “Fighting Childhood cancer one cup at a time." Your donations fund research that brings better treatment and cures to children with cancer. ALSF also provides emotional, financial, and logistical support to childhood cancer families that makes their challenges more manageable. We can make an immediate impact on families dealing with a childhood cancer diagnosis.

My family and I are partnering in the effort with Northwestern Mutual – Naperville to maximize our impact since we are aligned in our support for the cause. I am fortunate to work for an organization that is also passionate about giving back. Kaden and Adella have a Lemonade Pitcher on the wall they are coloring in as we gather donations to hit our goal! We have a lofty goal! We learned that $8000 funds one month of research. We want to hit that goal!
