Alicia Winter recovery fund

Hello Friends & family. I'm writing this while laying in my hospital bed, day #4... i was attacked by a dog, not up-to-date on its shots, on sunday and was immediately rushed to the hospital with deep lacerations in my left arm. Not realizing the severity of my situation, i was sent home 5 hours later, with orders to return for stitches on the 31st.
Upon returning, a massive LIFE THREATENING infection was found ... my white blood cell count, which should be around 10, not 10,000-- but 10, was 44,000. The amoxicillin i was prescribed barely touched the infection. I was admitted to Backus on Halloween and ive been here since, on a 24 hour IV of life saving antibiotics, and will be for "at LEAST 3 days more" according to the Dr.
This dog bite has turned me and my familys world upside down. It ruined my poor 6 yr old son, Micah's Halloween. I cant work, his father cant work because he normally goes in before Micah goes to school and gets out after, but since i normally drop him off and pick him up, Roberts got to while i cant. The medical bills are stacking, my fridge at home im sure is getting scarily low on food, my family has used up all our extra funds going back n forth from the hospital to visit me. My rents paid this month, my cable phone, n internets paid, etc but theres no emergency fund.. If theres ANYTHING you can do to help me, PLEASE find it in your heart. Micahs birthday is this month, and i WILL no matter what have presents for my child, whether its cuz i leave against medical advice n go to work and risk death. Please help me if you can! God bless!
