All for the kids, save our home
First, you must understand how hard it is to lay our lives out for everyone else to see. But in this case, I see no other option. I have faith and hope and that's all I have. I prayed for help and when I opened my phone I saw an ad for this site, a friend smiled and said, "Ask and you shall receive."
This is my family. We are a strong and resilient bunch, we have survived many hardships and I have faith that we will survive this one as well, even if it doesn't work out as planned.
These are my girls. Very happy, well behaved young ladies in spite of everything we've been through. My son did not wish to have his photo exposed to the world but he too is a wonderful gifted young man whom jumps to help me in any time of need but this is not a situation where as he is able to help.
My kids call me the coolest mom in the world, and "Super Mom" but I'm not feeling much like super mom lately. I've been keeping a secret from them in the hopes I can resolve it before it's too late.
Quite frankly, We are losing our home due to unpaid back and current taxes. We have tried so hard to keep our heads above water for a long time and everytime we are close to succeeding, "Life" happens and we fall back down to the bottom. Usually, when one door closes, another opens but this time... there are no open doors unless this is the open door.
I'm not one who asks for help unless it's to borrow $20 from a friend if I'm short on gas until payday. I budget every penny to make the best of what I have available. I don't buy luxury items. I live a very simple life style, no make-up or manicures or expensive clothes or shoes and everyone who knows me would account for that.
I just don't know what to do, I am frustrated and overwhelmed and would do just about anything to make sure my kids have a roof over their heads. So today, I am asking for your help, not for myself but for my kids as I love them dearly.
This is my Mother's Day wish.
Any monies that are raised from this campaign will be used to pay the taxes on our house and if we are unable to raise enough in time, the monies will be used to provide some other housing to make sure we can stay together as a family.
