The mission of this campaign is to encourage UIC JMLS students, faculty, and staff to raise funds that will support homeless Chicagoans, by putting service to others at the forefront of our goals to build a better community through the legal field.

Please show your support for the Pacific Garden Mission homeless shelter and Tent City (Southern end), by donating to this campaign. In your donation notes, please indicate if you are donating on behalf of the 1L, 2L, 3L classes or as a faculty and staff supporter. This will help us keep track of which group raised the most at the end of this week-long campaign! Contributions from UIC JMLS alum and the general public are also greatly appreciated, but there is no need to indicate that in your donation description.

Disclaimer: Pacific Garden Mission is a Christian organization that houses over 1,000 homeless individuals in Chicago. Tent City is a community of about 10-12 individuals and families that live in tents along the expressway ramps and choose not to live in shelters. We will be supporting both groups.
