Hello Extended Robles Fam!

We’re at that age where the “youngsters” from the family camping trips are now in their 30s, 40s, and 50s! As we begin taking the reins and planning future camping trips/family reunions (let’s call them what they’ve officially become), Tim and I had the idea and motivation to help upgrade Nathan’s wheelchair so he can get around a little more independently.

Not only would it improve his mobility and freedom, but it would also help make future trips a little easier for everyone while still keeping accessibility in mind, as we always will.

After a lot of research, we found a wheelchair that would be a huge improvement for Nate’s mobility. Most all-terrain wheelchairs range anywhere from $8,000 to $20,000, but thankfully we found one that answers the call for around $400!

Our family camping trips usually bring together about 40–75 people each year, so we thought we’d reach out and ask if anyone would be willing to contribute whatever they can — even as little as $5 or $10. That’s realistically just a gallon or two of gas these days!

One more thing: we’re hoping this can be a bit of a surprise for Nate. Ideally, we’d love to make this happen before the trip so he has time to get comfortable with it and plan ahead for family camping.

Wow, I'm overcome with how fast we reached that goal! You all are truly amazing! A couple of family have reached out wanting to donate but the fundraiser capped at the goal amount.
