"My grandma is homeless." I never want to hear those words. No one does. I have a chance to buy a modest home but it might slip through my hands if I can't cover the closing costs. I'll be sleeping on a friend's couch very soon but I'm praying that will be only temporary.

I haven't been able to find a decent paying job since early on in the pandemic and had to use every penny of my retirement money to help pay the bills. I work part time now but earn less than $200 a week and I won't have any savings left by the end of April. I'm grateful for every hour worked and every dollar I earn but it doesn't begin to cover everything. I have to keep up with my car payments to be able to do the only work I have now.

Closing costs will be about $10,000. I want to show my grandchildren that when you try to help yourself others will naturally also try to help you if you reach out and never give up.

I'm looking forward to moving to a new place, finding a full time, permanent job, and getting back to a normal life. Any help you can afford would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much. Be blessed.
