On Dec 26 my daughter Amber awoke in the middle of the night and was unable to breath, she has had asthma for years so she attempted to take her inhaler to help with the loss of breath. The systems continued off an on for over a week so she visited the UC. They Doctor's at the UC did not do any testing for illness, they just gave her a breathing treatment and sent her home with a scripts for an inhaler and steroids. 

On January 25, she continues having trouble breathing off and on and decided to go to the ER. At initial examination her blood pressure was very high but, her EKG was normal. They took some labs, multiple x-rays and a CT scan. She was then admitted as it was discovered she had Pneumonia. Over the course of the next 6 days she proceeded to have breathing treatments, high doses of antibiotics and have her blood pressure monitored. Due to her blood pressure being high and continuing to be elevated they decided to do and Echo Cardiogram. It was then they found that she had Chronic heart failure. She is currently being treated with medications and specialist to try to reverse the diagnosis. 

Amber has insurance unfortunately, she has a high deductible plan and the hospital visit alone before insurance was billed was 82,000.00 dollars. Her Deductible and OOP are 8,000.00 she is overwhelmed right now with Hospitals bills, prescriptions as well as household expenses. Please if there is any way you can help her out and take some of the stress of all of this from her. our family would be greatly appreciative.
