America Road Trip Project
In September-October 2025, author/political satirist C. J. Hopkins and photographer Hugo Fernandez will travel throughout the USA, taking the pulse of the American people and sharing it with the world through prose and pictures. Their adventures on the road, the stories and perspectives of the people they meet along the way, and Fernandez’s photographs will be published as a book by Arcade Publishing in 2026. Donated funds will be used to cover the costs of travel, accommodation, meals, and other project-related expenses.

I’m an American, but I have lived in Europe for twenty years. So, in a sense, I’m coming home to a country I have never been to before.
