Amputation Recovery Help
March 2025 I was forced into a left leg below knee amputation which instantly took my wife out of work to be my sole care provider. My wife is the provider for our family of 5, we have exhausted all payable PTO. The unexpected cost of medical supplies, medical equipment to get in and out and around, copays and just everyday expenses are adding up. We will be losing our commercial insurance soon and will be looking at continuing costs. The unplanned nature of the surgery combined with healing, being on dialysis we just don’t have the funds or resources.
