Why am I do this?

My name is Brian and I am a big animal lover! I have had many types of pets throughout my life. I used to donate time, money and supplies to animal shelters (non-kill only) but the time was to hard because of the state of the animals coming in. Way too much for me to handle. But only my small amounts of money were just not really making the impact needed to help. I have seen several good shelters have lack of funds and was forced to close their doors and place the animals all over in other crowded shelters. Then there are the medical issues where they need to put them down if they just cannot afford the vet bills. So here I am trying to make a difference and hoping to do nothing more than help and save some lives! I hope you are with me here.

Here are some details around my hopes:

• The amount of money per year on average per shelter is $144k and I am trying to raise as much as I can to be able to help with expenses like medical and supplies for around 5 shelters, but every bit helps. Maybe only pay for a procedure to save 1 animal or 50. 
• I am in process to creating a website to feature how we helped make a difference but for each person that donates they will get photos of the animals they helped too. 
• All money will go to several shelters and animal hospitals to help assist people that cannot afford for their pets' treatments. If I do not reach my goal that is fine, the money I do raise will go to the places mentioned even if it is just food or toys etc.… I will keep trying to make a difference, I am very determined!

Therefore, I feel I can make a large difference with help from all of you.

• This again will help save lives and help protect our animals
• I have successfully held TV auctions to help save organization like Chamber of Commerce in MA raising money to keep their doors open to help small businesses. I never have done an online campaign before so new to this, but my drive is the same as well as my passion for what I am trying to do!
• I think in my head, imagining doing to a shelter or an animal hospital to help a family that is struggling already and taking the stress away from their financial choice if their family's pet is going to come home with them or not. Or the other ones I have where simply pull up with a pallet of food for the shelter animals? The list goes on, but I think you get my point.
